My love for every girl everywhere  is drenched in every activity, lesson or time I give to Girl Spirit Foundation of America, Inc.  Personally I believe mentoring is a special gift given to those who are chosen to impact the lives of others. Growing up as a girl in a rural south community was challenging all by itself. Looking for women to model my life after was an internal desire. My mother and grandmother were constantly telling me I can be all that I wanted to be yet inside I was dealing with self image, self esteem and body image issues. Literally inside I did not feel good enough and encountered many youthful experiences that took away my self worth and value as a young girl. In my town there were limited resources, adventure or exposure to ignite a quest to achieve success. My need to be accepted, approved and acknowledged led to my constant battle with self love. I do not want any girl to ever doubt their self worth or sense of belonging therefore Girl Spirit, Inc was birthed.

Celebrating 11+ years is a great accomplishment and even more endearing now to see our Alumni doing marvelous works such as becoming High School Graduates, College Graduates,  Entrepreneurs, Managers, and above all else Phenomenal Young Ladies. Girl Spirit Foundation of America, Inc began in 2007 and  has been a blessing  to the lives of 300+ girls and work with 50+ Phenomenal Women. Proudly I answer the call to inspire, Motivate and Empower Girls to live fiercely never minding any flaws the world may say is seen; but, vivaciously be the Bold, Brilliant, Brazin and Beautiful Girl life commands of you.

This charge to impart love, guidance and support in to girls has not been easy in fact it has been  challenging – but oh so Rewarding!  It is my pleasure to Mentor and Make Memorable Moments with each and every Member of Girl Spirit,Inc…

High School: New Technology High School

Career/Work Experience: I currently work at Wal-Mart as a Claims Associate. That is where we process all returned and damaged items within the store. From customers to associates.

Snippet of GS Experience: Girl sprit is a great foundation that I was very fortunate to discover at a young age. It taught me so much about myself and my body as a young woman and the things I would experience over time. Girl Spirt impacted my life in so many ways. It taught me how to be a independent woman, it taught me how to love myself before I let anyone else do. To me Girl Spirit is like a small family of women, in which I got to meet some of the greatest girls ever. It’s definitely one of the best things I love! It helps bring girls together, make new friends, have great experiences with traveling, having girls night out and many different things.

Fond Memory: I wonderful memory from Girl Spirt that I can remember is the formal ball we had. It was an inauguration for us to become women. I loved the whole dressing up, getting my hair done and walking across the floor to receive a certificate into Woman hood. That was the day I definitely knew I would love this organization for life.
